Dion Health
Our Story

The mouth was never separate from the body.

Dion Health exists to close the oldest gap in healthcare — the one between the dentist's chair and the rest of your medicine.

01 — Where it began

Before San Francisco, Dr. Samadian spent nine years caring for families in the East Bay — long enough to notice the same pattern, again and again.

The patients who ground their teeth were the ones who didn't sleep. The ones who didn't sleep were tired, inflamed, aging faster. The mouth kept telling a story about the whole body — and the rest of medicine wasn't listening. Dion Health is the practice built to listen.

In Dr. Samadian's words

Why we look at dentistry differently.

A few minutes with Dr. Samadian on why the mouth belongs in the conversation about your whole health — and how that changes the care you get.

02 — Why we're different

We treat the mouth as part of your health — connected to how you breathe, how you sleep, and how you age.

Airway, bite, sleep, inflammation, the structure of your face — these aren't separate problems in separate offices. They're one system. Most dentistry stops at the tooth. We start with the system the tooth lives in, and we plan for the next thirty years, not the next appointment.

What that belief looks like in the chair.

Dentistry belongs in the health conversation

Your dentist sees you more often than most physicians do. That's a chance to catch the airway, sleep, and structural signals that shape your long-term health — not just to fill a cavity.

One clinician, the whole arc

Dr. Samadian maps, plans, and delivers your care personally. No rotating providers, no hand-offs — the person who understands your case is the person who treats it.

Built to last decades

We design around how your bite, airway, and face change over time — so the work we do today still serves you in twenty years, not just this year.

Meet the founder

Dr. Amin Samadian, a leader in craniofacial care.

Founder & CEO, Dion Health · Leader in Craniofacial Integrative Care

A third-generation clinician who grew up in his father's practice, Dr. Samadian has spent his career pioneering craniofacial integrative care — treating the mouth as part of the whole body, where the airway, the bite, sleep, and the way a face ages are one connected system, not separate complaints in separate offices. He earned his DDS at the University of the Pacific's Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry — where he went on to teach — and an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, and founded Dion Health to bring that model to more people.
